'Evita' at the Bristol Hippodrome

We had a great turn out for this event!!  Sadly Paul wasn't able to make it, but June was able to step in and take his place, so great to see you June!!  Everyone agreed the singing and dancing was excellent.

As always, we were treated very well by the helpful staff at the Hippodrome - many thanks!

Bristol Zoo Sunday 20th July 2008

The weather was lovely for a trip to Bristol Zoo, enjoying the animals and summer. 

Latest Cinema & Restaurant Event!

Some of Young & Free went to see the films 'Wanted' and 'Hancock' at the cinema yesterday, and all found both films enjoyable.  Afterwards we had a meal where excellent food was eaten - though again a profiterole shortage - and fast service which made a very successful event!  

Committee Meeting 2nd July 2008

A meeting of some Young & Free Members and Volunteers was held at Marie's home, to gather ideas and make dates for future Events, starting with a trip to the cinema to see 'Wanted' this Sunday 6th July 2008.

Other July events might include seeing Evita at the Bristol Hippodrome, and another great restaurant meal!
